The Golden Bracelet
When we were growing up, our elders often said:
“My daughter, make sure you have a golden bracelet on your wrist.”
This saying wasn’t really about jewelry. The golden bracelet was a metaphor; it meant a good education, a solid profession, and the ability to stand on your own feet. It symbolized the strength that allows a person to rise again, no matter the circumstances, and find stability within
themselves.
When I founded Meri Lou Jewelry, jewelry was never just about sparkle for me. I’ve always believed in the spiritual and emotional meanings behind materials. Gold, diamonds, colors each carries a message. A message about women’s strength, freedom, and the courage to carve their own path.
To me, the golden bracelet represents exactly that:
The symbol of women’s independence emotionally, economically, and physically.
When choosing your jewelry, look beyond beauty choose pieces that serve your dreams. Let every color, every stone you select become your own golden bracelet; a light that protects, guides, and empowers you.
“I believe that every woman holds the power to own her own golden bracelet.” Meri Lou
